Polarity, tense, aspect	Bu pu chum nuo nháo.	She wasn't sleeping.
Fronted subject	Líq nä suım hóa kúe. Líq nä suım hó kúe.	The woman, she sorts the books.
Fronted object	Kúe nä suım líq hóa. Kúe nä suım líq máq.	The books, the woman sorts them.
Early adverb	Kaqsı jîm jí máq. Keoı tî chíekua jí súq.	I briefly look at it. I in the classroom talk to you.
Late adverb	Kaqsı jí máq jîm. Keoı jí súq tî chíekua.	I look at it briefly. I talk to you in the classroom.
Fronted adverb	Jîm nä kaqsı jí máq. Tî chíekua nä keoı jí súq.	Briefly, I look at it. In the classroom, I talk to you.
Topic–comment	Háq bï jaq noqgı máq.	As for the food, it's very delicious.
