A passivizer is a verb or suffix that helps us access non-subjects of other verbs:

Passivizers
se ___ is a result/product of performing ___ (event)
luoı ___ is a target/goal/focus/direction of action ___ (event).
te ___ has been ___-ed (binary relation).
kıu ___ is ___-able (binary relation).

These are useful both in serials (te hıao “injure-ed”) or compound words (hıaote “injured”).

Compare to mu, which is purely syntactic:

Syntactical flippy words
mu ___ has something in binary relation ___ with it;
___ has ___ in binary relation ___ with it.

The author of Toaq prefers “semantic” passivizers to mu.
