Profanity

From The Toaq Wiki

Toaq has profanity in various forms. Here are some (roughly increasingly profane) options for swear words.

Mild

  • hece is a mild interjection like "heck" or "darn".
  • keqjeq is a verb meaning "shitty". (It's maybe a little old-school as far as swears go.)
  • aho and saqzao mean "idiot/fool/stupid/halfwit".
  • híjaq is a minced oath for hífaq: "which … the heck?" or "what … in tarnation?"

Vulgar

You wouldn't say these words in front of kids.

  • kem- is a vulgar prefix that doesn't change the meaning of what it's attached to, like kẹmshaı "fucking stop".
  • cúom is a focus particle like "damn X" or "fucking X": cúom táqchao "the damn car (of all things)!"
  • kıro is a nasty verb to call someone ("jerk/asshole").
  • áhoq is an insulting, spiteful synonym of súq ("you asshole").
  • súqke is another one, more haughty or belittling ("you little shit").
  • hífaq is a vulgar synonym of : "which … the hell?" or "which … the fuck?"
  • hıafaq is the same but for hıa: "what the fuck is it?"
  • ꝡajao is a positive vulgar verb, like "fucking awesome".
  • chıroı is a negative vulgar verb, like "fucking sucks".
  • chıro is a vulgar interjection like "fuck!" or "shit!"
  • taka is a vulgar synonym of jaq: "really fucking…"
  • rata is a really vulgar synonym of raı, so you can say tú rata "every motherfucking thing".
