Since the publication of Toaq Delta's refgram, the language has continued to evolve. This article tries to capture some of the evolutions, while sorting them into official and unofficial categories.

Official(-ish)

  • The word he "is not really an aspect […] it belongs to the modal / adverb of quantification group of words." [1]
    • Thus you might see sentences like hê ꝡä X nä Y meaning "as a rule, whenever X is the case, Y is the case".
  • A Toadua entry by Hoemaı suggests that "this/that" may be split into "this" and nánı "that". [2]
  • There is tentative official support for Bu, ꝡä hao to mean Bu juna, ꝡä hao. [3]
  • The Derani diphthong reform is "not a bad idea..." but hasn't really been put into practice yet. [4]
  • Simple Focus "looks entirely reasonable." [5]

Unofficial

  • Officially, the restriction part of a modal must come first. (Why?) But many people pretend Jaı jí shê, ꝡä jaı súq is allowed and means the same thing as Shê, ꝡä jaı súq, nä jaı jí.
  • There are various internal changes in Kuna that deviate a bit from what's specified on the Semantics page of the refgram.
  • See Category:Proposals.
